Vin Chaud – Glühwein

If you find yourself at winter events in Switzerland, you’re bound to encounter sweet, spiced mulled wine. Here are two versions–white and red. The best white wines to use are slightly sweet, like Gewürztraminer or Pinot Gris, while the best red wines include Pinot Noir, Merlot and the Swiss blend Dôle.
