This recipe was given to me by my dear friend Hind Kassem, who is of Palestinian origin.

Ingredients

  • 1 kilogram minced steak
  • 4–5 loaves khobez or Lebanese bread cut into 1” squares
  • 500

Method

Heat two tablespoons cooking oil over medium fire in a deep frying pan. Add the beef and stir continuously so that it does not form balls and is evenly browned. Add the cinnamon, black pepper and salt, and continue cooking over low-medium fire for five minutes.
