My Lebanese restaurant, Amoul's in London's Maida Vale, was open from from 2003-2018. The food at Amoul's was described by Observer restaurant critic Jay Rayner as "a snapshot of someone else’s life, delivered one delicate plateful at a time.”
This cookbook was published in 2008, after a lot of prodding from customers who wanted to know how I prepared certain dishes. It offers an introduction to Amoul the person, and the beliefs that instigated me to cook, along with 52 recipes from the restaurant.
