Butter is one of my biggest vices, I really love it. Whether it is being used in baking or cooking, simply spread over toasted crumpets or stirred through mashed potato, butter mattes everything better. My Mum used to load everything with butter, maybe that’s why I love it so much, she used to practically slice it on toast! Of course I’m not saying to do that, but I do believe that good butter enjoyed moderately is a very special thing indeed.
