Although this beef stock will gel, I would serve it on its own only if seasoned with a lot of lemon or lime juice and fresh pepper. It still has a lot of salt. It does not gel hard enough to support dilution with other ingredients.
This fake stock is meant to be used in soups. But be very careful when adding salt in any recipe in which it is used. It can easily be multiplied as needed.
