  1. Combine wine, sugar, and 1½ cups water in a 2-qt. saucepan. Bring to a simmer and cook until sugar dissolves, 1–2 minutes. Transfer syrup to a blender and add rosemary and salt; let cool and then discard rosemary. Add 14 strawberries and purée until smooth, then strain soup through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl.
