When we were asked to cater a boat party on Top Chef, my first thought was oysters. This is the recipe I turned to, as it marries classic Northern and Southern preparations. The flavors of cocktail sauce and hot sauce satisfy my Southern taste buds, while the preparation recalls a Northern mignonette. It’s a surprising, refreshing twist on both classics.
