  • About

This Colonial American version of créme anglaise is still enjoyed in Southern homes, particularly in Kentucky and the deep South, and especially during the Christmas holiday season. Use it in Alice Lenora Duke Wooten’s Tipsey Cake, or as an accompaniment to one of the rich layer cakes in “Chocolate Cakes, Southern Style”.
