Fideo is a dish made of vermicelli pasta simmered in a flavorful broth. As a child, when I cooked ‘sopa de fideo’ or simply ‘fideo’, with my grandmother, I ground the cumin seeds, peppercorns and garlic cloves in her molcajete.
