Irma Ramos was the inspiration for these cookies. Mrs. Ramos was a close family friend with a big heart and a gift for baking. Throughout the years I’ve tweaked her recipe. These cookies are my almond pecan version, but they still have the delicate taste that Mrs. Ramos was known for baking.
