  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup water

Method

Place the sugar and water in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes. Alternatively, combine the sugar and water in a microwave-safe container and microwave on high for 4 minutes. Refrigerate to cool completely.
