Inspired by a recipe given to me by the renowned Madrid recipe developer María Jesús Gil, this easy salad is pure comfort food. Serve it as a tapa or a light supper or lunch, and delight in how a handful of diced, musky jamón and a colorful, garlicky bell pepper vinaigrette can transform a simple can of white beans. Though black beans aren’t particularly Spanish, they are also excellent served with the warm pepper vinaigrette.
