To accommodate the realities of working women, more and more stalls at Barcelona’s La Boqueria market are devoting space to prepared foods. The perennial local favorite is waxy yellow potatoes mixed with a green vegetable, such as beans or Swiss chard, and dressed with aromatic olive oil. The dish is very tasty and so easy to make; I have never understood why it needs to be purchased. The only prerequisites are wonderful olive oil and good potatoes.
