Roasted vegetables are a great specialty at Quim de la Boqueria, my favorite breakfast counter in Barcelona. Asparagus with white wine, baby artichokes with a dash of cognac—extremely simple and always incredibly satisfying. Roasting the artichokes intensifies their flavor, bringing out their nuttiness.
