These are the poor man’s macaron, an egg white batter cookie that sandwiches a chocolate filling, much easier than the finicky French macaron and just as delicious.

Ingredients

For the Cookie Batter

  • 5 egg whites
  • 1 cup (200 g) sugar

Method

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
