This reminds me of one of my favorite See’s candies—cashew brittle. My husband insists that a See’s candy store is one of the happiest places on earth, because the longer you linger, the more samples they will usually give you. I like using salted cashews here to give this crunchy candy its delectable sweet and salty savor.

Ingredients

  • cups ( sticks) unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons water

Method

Spray a Large Baking Sheet with Nonstick Cooking Spray.

In a Large Saucepan, combine the butter, water, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until the butter is melted. Increase the heat to high and bring to a boil, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. When the mixture starts to boil, stop stirring and cook until the mixture reaches t
