Method

  1. Peel and core the apples, cut them into fine wedges, and toss in the lemon juice to prevent browning.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the water, sugar, and cinnamon and bring to a boil. Add the apples and raisins, cover with a tight-fitting lid, and continue to cook over high heat for 1 minute. After 1 minute, check the doneness of the apples and contin
