Method

  1. In a large pot, thoroughly combine the masa harina and the warm water. Add the milk, chocolate, piloncillo, anise, and salt. Bring to a simmer and whisk with a molinillo or an immersion blender until the chocolate is melted and the sugar is dissolved, 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  2. Serve hot with Churros.
