  • 125 g ( oz) of risotto or dessert rice (rinsed)

Method

Cook the rice with the water in a large saucepan on medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring constantly until the water is absorbed.

Add the milk, rose water, sugar and cornflour and cook the rice, stirring constantly for another 5 minutes until the sugar is dissolved and the pudding is thick.

Divide the pudding evenly into little bowls or glasses. Cool in the refrigerator.
