Another locally made liqueur, the tangy sweet flavor of mango wine makes it a perfect cooler for a summer cocktail party.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups sugar
  • 2 large green mangoes, peeled and grated
  • 3 whole cloves, slightly crushe

Method

  1. Dissolve the sugar in 3 quarts of water. Add the grated mango and cloves. Pour into a glass jar and seal tightly. Store at room temperature in a dry place for 10 days.
  2. Strain the liquid and pour into sterilized bottles. Store refrigerated for up to 1 week.
