This recipe deserves its own space as it’s not just as simple as substituting one milk for another: the balance between milk and water changes when you’re not using dairy. We like to use oat milk, but almond milk works fine as well, or feel free to experiment with your own milk alternative of choice.

Ingredients

  • 1 tea bag – we use English breakfast, and are fans of Yorkshire Tea
  • 3 green cardamom pods

Method

Bring 100 ml ( fl oz) of water to the boil in a saucepan and add the tea bag.
