Situated on its own tiny rock island where the great western sea lochs – Loch Duich, Loch Long and Loch Alsh – meet, and accessed by an arched stone bridge, Eilean Donan Castle stands proud out on the water as if basking in the glory of its magnificent view of the surrounding mountains.
