This fitfit contains milk made from toasted sesame seeds, which tastes quite a bit like milk made from toasted sunflower seeds, but sesame milk is a little thinner and less creamy. This dish is similar to Ye’souf Fitfit, but to shake things up, I’ve finished it a bit differently.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup raw sesame seeds
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ red onion

Method

Put the sesame seeds in a large skillet and toast over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the seeds are light golden brown and fragrant, about 10 minutes. Immediately remove the seeds from the heat and transfer to a food processor.
