  • About

Fresh ginger lends a spicy flavor to this tangy chutney. If you prefer a sweeter taste, increase the sugar by 1–2 tablespoons. Make the chutney 1–2 days in advance to allow the flavors to mellow.

Ingredients

  • Granny Smith apple, 1
  • Fresh cranberries, 3 cups
  • Sugar, ¾

Method

Peel and core the apple, then it into quarters and then into 1-inch chunks.

In a food processor, combine the apple, cranberries, sugar, and ginger and process until finely minced. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate, tightly covered, until ready to serve.
