This recipe uses half of the chocolate dough. The remaining half can be frozen for up to 1 month. Slice the dough directly from the freezer and then bake the cookies.
Divide the vanilla dough in half. Add 1 to 2 drops pink food coloring to one half and 1—2 drops orange food coloring to the other half. Knead each piece of dough separately until the color is completely incorporated. Divide the chocolate dough in half. Wrap each dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate until well chilled, about 30 minutes.
