For use as a guide when cutting the dough, prepare a template by tracing a paisley shape on parchment paper. Place the template on the rolled dough and cut around it with the tip of a paring knife.

- All-purpose flour for dusting
- Dough for Gingerbread Cookies, cut into paisley shapes (see note)

- Bake the cookies according to the Gingerbread Cookies recipe 12–15 minutes. Let cool completely, about 30 minutes.
