Tired of the same old, same old? For a refreshing new take on hamburgers, replace the toppings suggested in the main recipe on the opposite page with these:


  • 1 large ripe avocado, peeled, pitted, and cut into ¼-inch slices
  • cups alfalfa sprouts
  • cups


Cook the burgers as described in the previous main recipe. Put them on buns and top with avocado slices, sprouts, and salsa.
