This recipe appears in old cookbooks sometimes under cakes, sometimes under dumplings. It is a festive little dish that looks very handsome on old Canton china.

  • 5 tart cooking apples
  • 5 tablespoons quince or orange marmalade

Method

Preheat the oven to 350°F.
