Huling’s recipe calls for double the amounts given here, which would require at least 2 persons working together quickly to get it all done before the sugar sets. Keep that in mind if you are working alone. It is far better to do a smaller batch twice than to have large amounts of sugar gone hard before you are half finished. Otherwise, this is very easy to do and quite spectacular when used on fruit pyramids and fancy Christmas centerpieces in combination with candles.
