These are small, deep-fried pieces of dough served as a snack. The kalonji give these tidbits a pungent, distinctive taste and aroma. In india, they are sold at sweet shops where they also sell nuts and other savouries such as Singharas.

Ingredients

  • 250 g (2 cups) maida or plain (all-purpose) flour

Method
