  • 2 oranges
  • 3lb stoned plums
  • 3lb sugar
  • 1lb seeded raisins
  • Scant ΒΌ pint water
  • 4ozchopped walnuts


    Wash the oranges but do not peel them. Cut them in small pieces and mince them. Cut the plums in small pieces. Mix together the oranges, plums, sugar, raisins and water. Simmer together for one and a half hours. Add the walnuts and continue cooking for fifteen minutes. Pour into hot jars and seal.
