These scones are deliciously savoury, perked up with Marmite, nutritional yeast and herbs. They’re my version of a cheese scone; something to fill hungry tummies after school, to serve alongside a steaming bowl of soup or with a simple lunch. Scones are best eaten fresh, but they also freeze well. Just defrost and pop into a medium oven for 5 minutes before eating.
