In terms of heat, this is a mild fish curry from Goa that’s very popular with kids; as a bonus, it’s a quick and easy recipe. You can use a milder fresh green chilli or skip it, as you prefer. Serve this with bread or rice and a fresh salad or pickle (see Cauliflower Aachar). Any type of white fish and even shrimp work great here but avoid salmon; it doesn’t work as well in curries.
