Ingredients: 400 g/14 oz can coconut milk; 225 g/8 oz/1 cup red lentils; 15 ml/1 tbsp fresh lime juice; salt and ground black pepper; ½ cinnamon stick; 6 cardamom pods; 5 ml/1 tsp ground cumin; 2 garlic cloves, crushed; 4 tomatoes, roughly chopped; 2.5 ml/½ tsp ground turmeric; cumin seeds, to garnish; 2 onions, finely chopped
