Ukrainian Milk Soup with Rice

Some years ago I ran a small catering company. I had no real business scheme in mind except to cook the foods I liked the most. I figured if I approached this task with passion and integrity, other food lovers would share an appetite for my culinary whims. When I sold off the business in 2006, the following soup was the unanimous favorite among those who helped with the task of tasting my latest creations.

My grandmother made the most delicious soup and she would let me help when I
