Sweet or spicy sausages, mozzarella and Romano cheeses, sun-dried tomatoes, Pepper Pizza Oil, and a wisp of fresh sage are combined to give us the robust spiciness we’ve come to expect from the southern Italian kitchen. We like to serve this straight from the oven.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ cup Chopped onion
  • ½ recipe

Method

  1. One hour before cooking, preheat the oven to 500°F. When the oven is almost ready, lightly oil a pizza pan and sprinkle with cornmeal.
  2. Heat the oil in a small skillet, and sauté the onion, over low heat, until soft, 5 minutes. Set it aside.
