Everyone knows you should get the corn from the field to the pot as quickly as possible, for every moment it’s off the stalk the sugars turn to starch. Some say to start the water boiling before you go and pick the corn. We’ve found that corn on the cob stays sweet and flavorful when we take a lesson from our own grilling method and leave it in its husk. So clean out the silk and retie the husks with kitchen string. Your guests will be surprised at the taste—so figure on them coming back fo
