Baked heads of garlic are luscious served as a vegetable alongside roasted meats. It’s also delicious squeezed out of the skin and spread on thick slices of toasted peasant bread or Olive Rosemary Country Bread.

Ingredients

  • 8 whole heads garlic
  • 4 tablespoons (½ stick) unsalted butter

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Carefully remove the outer papery skin from the garlic heads, leaving the whole heads intact.
