  • About

Instead of the hot red cherry peppers we remember in sausage and pepper sandwiches, here a hot chile is tempered (but not too much) by a sweet banana pepper and nutty Jarlsberg cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 sweet banana (Hungarian wax) pepper
  • 1 mildly hot long chile pepper
  • 1 scallion (green onion), whit

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Slice the banana pepper in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. Slice it crosswise into thin strips. Seed and chop the chile pepper. Thinly slice the scallion.
  3. Combine the peppers, scallion, cheese, and black peppe
