Ingredients: Chunky Applesauce, cold; 4 tablespoons (¼ cup) solid vegetable shortening; 8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter; ½ cup coarsely grated onion; 2 eggs, lightly beaten; 2 cups mashed cooked sweet potatoes; ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper; 1 teaspoon curry powder; ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper; ½ teaspoon salt; 4 teaspoons unbleached all-purpose flour; 1 teaspoon grated nutmeg
