Instead of the usual standing rib roast, try a shell of beef for those very special occasions. We like ours cooked rare, so the flavor of the meat can be enjoyed to the fullest.

Ingredients

  • 1 boneless beef shell roast ( pounds)
  • 3 cloves garlic, slivered

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 500°F.
  2. With the point of a sharp knife, cut slits in the fat of the roast; insert the garlic slivers in the slits.
