It’s rich with flavor, looks absolutely gorgeous, and when sliced paper-thin, will feed a throng. Surround the ham with breads, mustards, and chutneys—it’s everybody’s favorite sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 1 ready-to-eat ham (12 to 14 pounds), bone in
  • Whole cloves
  • ½ cup (packed) dark brown sugar, or more as needed
