Method
Preheat the oven to
350°F
. Grease a 5 × 9 × 3-inch loaf pan.
Place the butter in a large mixing bowl, place the dates on top, and pour both sugars over. Pour the boiling water over the ingredients in the bowl. Let sit for 7 minutes. Stir well.
