This bread is especially good toasted and buttered.

Ingredients

  • Butter, for greasing the pan
  • 2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup sugar

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease an 8 × 4½ × 3-inch loaf pan.
  2. Sift the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt into a mixing bowl.
  3. Make a well in the middle of the sifted mixture and pour in the orange juice, eggs, and melted butter. Mix well
