While there are many versions of this cookie, often called “wedding cookies,” this one has long been a Rosso family Christmas tradition. Quite objectively, we think it’s the best we’ve ever tasted. The secret is the honey, even though you hardly know it’s there. That, and baking the cookies to an ever so slight golden brown so they take on a nutty flavor.
