Method

Beat the egg yolks and sugar together until the mixture is thick and pale yellow.
Meanwhile, in the top of a double boiler set over simmering water, melt the chocolate with the 12 tablespoons butter, whisking constantly until smooth; cool slightly.
Preheat the oven to 350°F
