If you want to make this recipe in winter, use dried blueberries and 50 g/ 2 oz lavender sugar.


  • 350 g/12 oz plain flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder


Heat a non-stick griddle or heavy frying pan. Sift the dry ingredients together and rub in the butter. Mix in the sugar, lavender and blueberries and finally stir in enough liquid to make a smooth, fairly soft dough. Roll or pat the dough flat and cut into rounds about ½ cm/
