In case you loved the idea of the caipirinha de café but didn’t want to go on a date with cachaça, we simplified the recipe into a mocktail. Lime zest adds a unique element to coffee, coconut sugar sweetens it slightly, and sparkling mineral water turns it into a nice bubbly glassful of goodness. This is a light option for any time of day, and feels much more festive than a simple cup of java alone. Did you know that coffee is good for the liver, whether or not it contains caffeine? It was originally assumed that the caffeine content was the reason coffee helped to lower liver enzyme levels, but then further research showed that decaf did the same. It’s nice to know that whether you want the caffeine or not, coffee can still treat you kindly!
