Method

Pre-heat the oven to 180°C/350°F/gas 4. Prepare a deep, 23cm loose-based cake tin, lining the base and sides with non-stick baking parchment.

Melt the chocolate and butter together in a bowl over a pan of simmering hot water. Do not allow the base of the bowl to touch the water
