  • 120 g sugar

Method

Mix the melted butter with the sugar then add the almonds, flour, egg whites and vanilla essence. Rest the mixture overnight. Lightly butter a baking tray. With a teaspoon, spoon the mixture onto the tray at 15-cm intervals. Wet the spoon in cold water and with the back of the spoon spread the mixture so that it is tissue thin.
